Internet problems, moving + some news.

I'm sorry that it's been quiet for some time here on RawGameBlog, much of it is because I recently moved into a new apartment, so that took a bit of time and energy.
In addition to this, I initially has troubles getting online here the first week.
Now I am online, but the line is both slow and the set up is kind of unstable, and completely unacceptable.

I will be working to get a faster and more reliable line, although this may unfortunately prove to take some time.

NEWS: Fable 2 is getting a lot of great reviews - looking forward to getting my pre-ordered copy. The scores are anywhere from 8.2/10 to 10/10 - the main issues being that the game isn't "polished" enough, some bad textures and laggy animations. But a patch might fix some of this?

A lot of good games are coming out this fall - which ones will you buy?

Also Resistance 2 is said to have completely customizable controls (rumor?), and I have to say that is nice (Who wouldn't like to set up the controls to match the game they've played most - ie COD4).

Age of Conan featured in sitcom 'The Big Bang Theory'

In this weeks episode of the increasingly popular sitcom starring to geeks; "The Big Bang Theory", They are playing Age of Conan.

Quote: "In this week's episode, one of the two geeks is playing Age of Conan when the girl comes over. She starts playing the game and becomes addicted, rejecting responsibilities and basic hygiene for the remainder of the episode. The premise sounds typical, but the episode has a certain wink-like-quality to it. It's all in good humor, and there are a lot of inside jokes that only players of the game could get. "

Halo 3: Recon unveiled at TGS08

So finally it has been announced: There will be a new Halo game, scheduled for release next fall. The name is Halo 3: Recon, and we will play as a new hero (not Master Chief) and explore what happened before "Halo 3".

The game promises a lot of singleplayer action, as well as great multiplayer support. It is said to be a standalone game - NOT an expansion of Halo 3.

Age Of Conan for Xbox 360 delayed

Strategyinformer.com is reporting that Funcom will not release Age Of Conan on the Xbox 360 for another year/this year.

“Development on the Xbox 360 version is not our key priority as there are a massive amount of PC gamers already playing the game, and we rightly have the focus on them. While there is a dedicated specialist project team working on Xbox, the PC version will remain our top priority for now.”

PS3/PC/360: Described as a "nextgen mystery sci-fi shooter", They is set in London four years in the future, where you play the role of an unnamed British soldier battling a siege of freakish biomechanical foes, whom are tools of an phantom-like alien race.

Where are all the Nintendo Wii games?

I just read an article over at Gameplayer.com by a frustrated gamer who is missing sequels abd more games for the Wii. Personally I javen't played the Wii much, but, that might just be the reason why; what games are there?

GT5 update w/cars, 360 and Wii pricecut

Word has just reashed ut that there is an update availible for Gran Turismo 5 PRolouge - and it includes new cars! Read more about it HERE.


Also, it is confirmed(?) that Microsoft and Nintendo will cut the price on the 360 and Wii in the UK.

Xbox 360 Arcade will now start at £99.97(previously £129.97), and the 60GB model for just £139.97 (previously £169.97).

The Nintendo Wii will be reduced from £179.97 to £149.97.

NOTE: This is for a period only; from Friday October 3rd until October 12th.
So if you are thinking about buying a console either for yourself or as a Christmas present, GO SHOP.
