John Carmack has told Forbes.com that they want to develop mobilegames exclusively for the iPhone, sicne it has rasied the bar for mobile gaming.

"It's almost as powerful as the PS2 and Xbox", he says, "at least it has a lot more memory to play with".

Well, mr.Carmack... you have got us excited :-)

PS3 firmware 2.42 out now

But it only contains bug fixes, optimizations etc. No word has reached us wether it features Trophy support for games.

Personally I'm trying it out when I get home - will report here on my blog if it is unstable like 2.40 was.

Fable 3 and Fable 4 already planned (!)

While we are still waiting to get our hands on the long awaited Fable 2, Peter Molyneux revealed at E3 that Fable 3 and Fable 4 are games that Lionhead already have plans for.

"We've got plans for Fables 3, 4 and 5 actually," Molyneux shared to GameTrailers during E3.

So when will we see Fable 3? Next generation? We'll have to wait and see.

Geometry Wars 2 coming Wednesday July 30th.

Bizarre Creations has decided to release the game one week earlier than planned, so you will be able to enjoy this cool game next upcoming Wednesday!

Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 features multiplayer, which is a new twist for this game. Up to four players can play co-op, as well as head-to-head.
Several different game modes will be featured, and even better visuals than the previous game, this time running at 1080p.
